Kyiv Cutlet - Ukranian Cuisine Dish

Some history:
According to the version, in the late 19th century, the restaurant "Kiev" figured into cutlets de Wola (côtelette de volaille or cutlets from poultry) to leave the pit. So as bone wore curlers, it was convenient to eat burgers with hands, and they became known as "Chicken Kiev".

Ukrainians say that the burgers came to him in 1918, but did not achieve popularity. They served in honor of the return of the Ukrainian delegation from Germany. Cutlets all liked and quickly entered the restaurant menu.

The Americans credited with inventing the dish itself, arguing that the name "chicken Kiev" has appeared because of their allegedly frequently ordered immigrants from Ukraine. In English dish is called «Chicken Kiev», that is "Chicken Kiev".

There is a version that this dish invented the Jews who lived in Kiev.
